Real Estate Paralegal

We continue to experience significant growth and require the assistance of a Real Estate Paralegal to directly support a Partner in our Real Estate Department. This position is based out of our Mount Kisco, NY office.

Responsibilities would include but not be limited to:

  • Prepare and review both residential and commercial real estate documents including contracts, leases, closing statements, title commitments, and deeds.
  • Conduct title searches and resolve title issues.
  • Coordinate with lenders, title companies, realtors, clients, and municipal offices to facilitate transactions.
  • Manage deadlines and ensure all documents are properly filed and recorded.
  • Prepare closing binders and ensure accurate disbursement of funds.
  • Review surveys, zoning reports, and UCC filings.
  • Draft and file documents related to entity formation and registration, if applicable.
  • Maintain accurate and organized electronic and physical files.
Required:
  • Minimum of five years of experience as a real estate paralegal
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • This a full-time, Monday through Friday, in-office position.
  • Strong computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint.
  • Experience with e-filing, in-person filing
  • Ability to problem-solve procedural and calendaring issues on the fly with minimal supervision. 
  • Experience with Clio and NetDocs a strong plus.

Salary Range: $80,000-$90,000
